Status Report April 2021

2021-04-11T10:31:02-04:00April 8th, 2021|

The Ontario government has invoked a Stay at Home order that took effect today. There is no play allowed on the greens for the month of April. Greens maintenance can continue and the OLBA has set a limit of 5 people active at one time for greens maintenance activity.

The OLBA has cancelled its provincial tournaments for this summer, but the organization is hoping to issue some rules on how to open lawn bowling safely within clubs. Of course, everything will also be subject to provincial guidelines.

The Balmy Beach Lawn Bowling Club will open for bowling as soon as we can, following OLBA and provincial guidelines. We all want to get out in the sun for some safe recreation. Meanwhile, please retain your membership and keep the faith. We WILL get on the greens again.

Use the Contact links to keep in touch with your club. We care about your opinions and concerns.
